  • My husband and I stayed for a couple of nights over Christmas. My parents live nearby and due to large family Christmas, Ian and Christine’s place was ideal for us. It’s compact but very comfortable and has everything one would need plus the added benefit of a log burner (if you want to use it). Ian, Christine and Danny the dog were very welcoming and happy to help if we needed anything. The cottage is located very delightful and secluded position, close to the village centre. We would recommend staying here and we look forward to returning in the future. Thank you very much for letting us stay!

  • Had a lovely stay in this very comfortable and well equipped place. The garden is fully fenced which was perfect for our two Greyhounds to stretch their legs. We would certainly like to stay again in the near future.

  • Wonderful stay in Peterchurch and we are desperate to come again! First place we've stayed where the garden is completely secure for the dogs! It made us so relaxed and the stay so much more enjoyable. Fantastic local food recommendations (Friday fish and chips from the Nags head- YUM!) and lots of footpaths to explore on the doorstep. Lovely touches with fresh pint of milk and fresh flowers from the garden. Ian and Christine were both so friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, and Danny their beautiful dog was a hit!! Brilliant value for money.

  • Very dog friendly. Compact accommodation but exactly as described. Lovely garden setting and surrounding countryside with walks on the doorstep. Hosts very informative with great local knowledge.

  • Great location and very peaceful surroundings. Hosts were very friendly and had a new dog who was very curious and came to say hello. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off at midnight on my last night's stay and I couldn't disable it. So ended up leaving early, Ian refunded me for part of the night

  • We stayed in the area for a wedding and enjoyed a few days here walking with our dog ( some lovely nearby walks), and visiting Hay-on-Wye to mooch around the bookshops. Ideal location for a couple, with facilities to cook meals. Dog friendly with safe enclosed garden!

  • Lovely relaxing break in this cosy accommodation. Fully equipped with everything we needed to make our stay a joy. Cadi the dog loved the garden and the surrounding areas to walk in. Easy bus journeys from the main road to Hereford and Hay on Wye.

  • A massive thankyou to Christine and Ian for their hospitality. Their neighbours were very friendly although not “in your face”, really nice community. My 18 month old spaniel and I had a lovely stay, Walks right out of the gate, If you're looking for somewhere to relax and get away, walking, enjoying the scenery, with your furry friend or not so furry human, this is the place for you.
